Katrina Scott signs with Topnotch Management

Cleveland, OH (November 13, 2019) – Cleveland-based sports management agency Topnotch Management announced today the signing of top junior player Katrina Scott to a global representation agreement. The 15-year-old Woodland Hills, CA native will be managed by LA-based Topnotch Management agent Meilen Tu

“Simply put, Katrina has all the pieces to become one of the world's top tennis players,” said Tu. “She represents a great addition to the Topnotch Management roster, and our whole team is excited to work with her as she develops into a professional, both on and off the court.”

Already measuring 5'11” and playing a strong, physical brand of tennis, Scott is widely regarded as the top global prospect from the 2004 women's class. In 2019, Scott earned semifinals results at ITF G1 events in both Charleroi-Marcinelle (clay) and Nottingham (grass), and reached the Round of 16 at Wimbledon Juniors (grass), the quarterfinals of the US Open Juniors (hard) this summer, with these strong results combining to bring increasing attention to the young player. In her first event after turning pro, she kept the momentum going by reaching the semifinals of the Oracle Pro Series Malibu W25 event.

Speaking after the announcement, Katrina said, “I’m proud to announce that I've joined Topnotch Management as I launch my professional tennis career. It's been a great process, my family and I feel great about the support and expertise they bring to the table and I can't wait to see what we can do together.”

Scott will spend time at her home and training base in Woodland Hills, CA. Her plan is to play in the upcoming Orange Bowl Girl's 18's draw, travel to Australia in advance of the Australian Open, and play a series of ITF events through the spring.
